Our heart: prayer and knowledge

At the core of Penrith Muslims community centre, Masjid is our commitment to facilitating daily spiritual life. We provide a peaceful space for the five daily congregational prayers, fostering a deep connection with Allah. Furthermore, we are passionate about teaching the Quran to children, men, and women, nurturing understanding and practice of Islamic principles for all ages.

Born from community need

The establishment of the Penrith Muslims community centre, Masjid was a direct response to a significant need. With a growing number of Muslim residents in Penrith, the absence of a dedicated community centre or a central Masjid was deeply felt. Our journey began with the vision to create a spiritual home and a communal hub, a place for gathering, support, and collective growth for Penrith Muslims.

More than just a masjid

What truly sets Penrith Muslims community centre, Masjid apart is our holistic approach to community life. Beyond being a sacred place for five daily prayers, we are a dynamic hub for various activities. We host regular Quran teaching sessions, organise community get-togethers, and strive to create an inclusive environment where individuals and families can connect, learn, and grow together in faith and friendship.
